Clinicians can now capture fluorescence and reflectance screening images and have them seamlessly uploaded to SOTA Cloud — completing a workflow that has never before existed in a single, uninterrupted process.
Solving the Documentation Gap
Oral mucosal screening has long faced a documentation problem. Even when clinicians performed thorough screenings, getting images into the patient record required manual downloads, file transfers, and separate upload steps — adding enough friction that documentation was often skipped entirely.

How It Works
The VELscope Mantis uses a built-in iPhone adapter to capture hands-free, high-resolution images across all three visualization modes: blue-light fluorescence, polarized white-light reflectance, and traditional white-light illumination. LED Dental has developed customized image acquisition settings optimized for each mode — ensuring consistently high-quality, clinically accurate images rather than standard consumer photographs.
