SOTA Cloud Releases New Version, Embedding Overjet AI and Introducing Enterprise-scale Management Tools

SOTA Cloud today announced the general availability of version 2.6.0.0, introducing AI-driven imaging capabilities, enterprise-scale management tools, and workflow upgrades designed to accelerate diagnostics, simplify administration, and standardize care across multi-site organizations.

The 2.6.0.0 update will be rolled out to users on a rolling basis, each Thursday over the next three weeks. Users will see these new features appear automatically in their account once their environment has been updated.

🚀 Overjet AI Now Embedded in SOTA Cloud

As part of the new release, SOTA Cloud launched a new integration with Overjet, a leading dental artificial intelligence solution. With Overjet embedded directly in SOTA Cloud, users can:

• Enhance diagnostics with AI insights.
• Access Overjet seamlessly inside your existing workflows.
• Sign up through the SOTA Cloud Store.

🏢 Enterprise-Grade User Management

SOTA Cloud also rolled out SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) and expanded RBAC (role-based access control) for our Plus and Pro customers.

• SCIM makes it easier for large organizations to automatically provision and deprovision users.
• Enhanced RBAC lets administrators manage permissions both in the interface and through group integrations with their identity provider (IdP).
• A brand-new User Management View provides a centralized dashboard for managing user roles and access.

Administrators may assign users to user role groups that are fully customizable. For example, they can create a “Dental Assistant” group limiting permissions to just those needed by the DA team, and a Dentist group for dentists. Administrators may also customize location access by region or by sub-group with customizable location group roles.

🔗 Epic on FHIR Bridging

SOTA Cloud now supports Epic on FHIR bridging, giving practices using Epic seamless connectivity with imaging workflows and single sign on support.

🖼️ Smarter Image & Exam Management

• Multi-Image Filtering: Quickly apply filters across multiple images in exam view.
• Double-Click Navigation:
  • Exit full screen mode with a double-click.
  • Jump back to exam view by double-clicking on an image.
• Annotation Editing: Pearl annotations can now be individually edited with left/right clicks for precision control.
• Exam Capture Rules: Organizations can now disable new captures on existing exams after the first calendar day for greater compliance and record integrity.
• Streamlined navigation bar with a quick-access exam list.

📂 Offline & Data Enhancements

• Offline Cache-Sync Modal: Improved design makes uploading offline patient exams easier and more reliable.
• CSV Export: Global Administrators can now export all users across the organization, including necessary metadata to conduct user access audits for compliance.
• Referral Search: Finding the right referral recipient is now faster with new search functionality.

🎥 iCoreConnect Library Access

From the iCoreConnect search bar, users can now browse the entire training video library with the new “View Library” option.

⚡Other Improvements

• Patient name entry is now more flexible (no two-character minimum).
• Quick Print and Partner API exam outputs now display times in the correct local time zone.
• Numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements for smoother operation.
